was chosen as the company name due to the importance of a “parent” role in the language learning process, popularised by one of the company’s founders.
Beyond simply supporting effective language learning
once various languages have been fully integrated and “hardened” for the purpose of supporting language learning in people, the resulting IP and language data will be made available for industries requiring highly accurate, meaning based computer understanding of language.

John Ball
John has multiple patents for his Patom based theory, which allows computers to understand meaning in language in a way analogous to how humans learn language.
This brain-based approach to developing language understanding for computers has led to remarkable results.
Over the last 10 years John has developed the basic computer code required to turn his Patom theory into practical computing tools for human language understanding.
Chris Lonsdale
Chris is a psychologist, linguist and educator, well known for his famous TEDx presentation on How to Learn ANY Language in Six Months.
He has created a number of very effective language learning products, including the successful Kungfu English system (功夫英语) that teaches English to Mandarin Chinese speakers.
Chris is also a well known and respected designer of high-impact experiential learning for major corporations and SME’s in the Asia Pacific Region.
